What is NeoGraft?
Restore thick hair or a receding hairline with a NeoGraft hair transplant! NeoGraft is a trusted name in hair restoration. A NeoGraft transplant is much different than the hair transplants of decades ago. It’s safer, more effective, and heals more quickly. The NeoGraft procedure strategically redistributes your hair so it is impossible to tell that you had a hair transplant.
A Neograft FUE hair transplant delivers a minimally invasive hair restoration procedure for men and women with natural-looking results, no visible linear scar, and a quick recovery time. And NeoGraft hair restoration is permanent!
How does NeoGraft work?
The NeoGraft hair replacement procedure extracts, collects, then separates and implants hair follicles by FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), requiring no scalpel incision. The NeoGraft process dramatically increases follicle viability over traditional strip hair transplants. It is possible to complete large areas in a single session, and healing is about 80% faster than the old method of removing an entire strip of scalp. Hair can be worn short without exposing a large horizontal linear scar typical of the traditional strip-cut hair transplant. We favor Neograft FUE as a far more advanced and minimally invasive procedure that produces impressive results and satisfied, happy patients!
Length of treatment
Depending on the number of grafts, the treatment can take anywhere from 4-10 hours. The number of treatments will depend on your unique circumstance, but in many cases, just one procedure can be enough to attain desirable results.
Stem-Scalp treatment
We may use our Stem-Scalp treatment after the NeoGraft procedure to stimulate hair follicles and promote growth.
Downtime
There are many healing and regrowth stages, and while some may be comfortable in public after 4-5 days, it may be ten days for others. Recovery time after a NeoGraft hair restoration procedure is much faster than traditional hair transplants because there is no incision. The newly implanted grafts may initially feel tender and slightly raised, but this should subside in one week. You may also see some scabbing, but this should flake off within a week. Please read the results section below and ask for more information during your free consultation!
Results
The newly grafted hair will stay in place for about two to three weeks before shedding – this is normal and a vital part of the new growth process. After shedding, the new growth will begin in 3-4 months, and your hair will continue to grow normally. More importantly, your results will look healthy and natural. While the transplanted hair is considered permanent, it does not stop your normal process of hair loss. Some people will need continued maintenance, and further NeoGraft sessions may be required, particularly if the balding pattern continues with age. Progressive hair loss or the desire for more thick hair may require more transplants. We will discuss the balding pattern and the potential number of procedures during the consultation.
How long will the implanted hair last?
Hair loss does not stop after transplantation – some people will need continued maintenance and further sessions will likely be required, particularly if your balding pattern continues with age. Progressive hair loss or the desire for more density may require more transplants. An estimate of balding pattern and the number of procedures needed will be discussed during the consultation with the doctor.
