Experience with medical dermatology a plus but not mandatory. Having great injection skills and laser experience is mandatory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Duties

  • Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with authorized practice as defined by state law
  • Delivers care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician and R.N. and based on the physician’s delegatory style.
  • Insures that you or MA’s are obtaining clear excellent photos are taken of all cosmetic patients at every appointment and gets all “Photo Consents” and other forms signed
  • Limits their involvement in the assessment and implementation of treatment to agreed upon procedures including but not limited to injection therapy, taking into consideration their training, experience, and preparation of the R.N.
  • Tracks referral sources, sends thank you letters to the source, and dictates consultation letters to the patient.
  • Responsible for the coordination of retention correspondence to patients regarding their follow-up treatment plan. (As well as insure all patients get their Pre-Op and Post Op Forms)
  • Maintains the patient’s medical records detailing all treatment procedures, medication history, and educational materials distributed
  • Insures that on facial procedures that Advanced Visia Digital Photo-Analysis is taken to digitally track progress to maximize patient results .

Secondary Duties

  • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that a registered nurse practitioner/ or PA is treating them.
  • Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed guidelines for the practice.
  • Clarifies and familiarizes all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician
  • Tracks referral sources, sends thank you letters to the source, and dictates consultation letters to the patient.
  • Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards. 6. Maintains inventory-tracking system for all injectable products. Orders and stocks inventory (or helps to track & get ordered) and supplies as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Duties

  • Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times and priority as deemed by front desk.
  • Obtains short history and vital signs as required by patient’s chief complaint. Obtains or updates medication list if necessary.
  • Sets up exam room according to scheduled procedure or anticipate physicians needs if non-scheduled procedure is likely.
  • Having everything ready for Provider and patient BEFORE they ENTER the room for treatment
  • Treat all patients in a professional and courteous “5 Star Concierge” manner.
  • Review schedules daily to coordinate best use of the day.
  • Responsible for assisting the physician with patient care including taking vital signs, obtaining history and chief complaint; assisting with biopsies and select surgery & laser procedures.
  • Patient education on treatment plans and medication
  • Calling patients “post treatment” to check on them. Providing pre and post operative forms and all forms necessary.
  • Responsible for taking excellent photographs before every “cosmetic procedure” and inputting into their digital charts.
  • Nursing procedures, such as suture removal, dressing changes, allergen patch testing, and completion of pathology and lab requisition documents.
  • Assists physician with biopsies and surgical procedures such as excisions, ED&C, cryo therapy, laser surgery, etc.
  • Educates patient as required after physician establishes the treatment plan. Ensures that the patient understands the treatment plan, understands the proper use of their medications, and understands their responsibility for compliance with the treatment plan prior to leaving the office.
  • Straightens and cleans exam rooms and rear bathroom and kitchen after patient visits.
  • Performs nursing procedures such as suture removal, dressing changes, Allergen patch testing, and chemical wart therapy, without direct physician supervision.
  • Completely and correctly fills out all required pathology and laboratory requisition documents for patients as required by physician.
  • Provides clinical staff with all completed documents for data entry into the biopsy book.
  • Discuss and promote aesthetic injectables, laser treatments and skin care (such as Latisse, Clinique MD for Post care etc).
  • Responsible for insuring patient fully understands post treatment plan and is offered recommended skincare package to optimize results and maintain results gained.

Work with Sr. Cosmetic Administrator and CEO-OWNER to develop and implement

  • Educational seminars
  • Physician Speaking Engagements at High End Spas, Charity Functions and Events that will result in New Cosmetic Patients
  • Patient Seminars at the Office
  • Bring a friend Events
  • Information Blast to referral sources
  • Be the “key contact” in the practice for Referrers developed
  • Create and work with CEO to send monthly Practice E-Newsletter
  • Create and work with CEO and offer pre approved Coupons for patient and friend
  • Be the Referring physician contact
  • Responsibility for referral activities
  • Referral tracking and measurement
  • Practice outreach
  • Hand delivery of practice information to PCPs, other dermatologists, spas, health clubs, and other potential referral sources
  • Coordination of CE seminars, dinners, open houses, preceptorships etc.

Also

  • Serves as cosmetic procedural point-person to Cosmetic Providers when necessary and can act as a Superstar Closer/ Cosmetic Consultant (i.e. Cosmetic Procedures Sales Closer) when Sr Cosmetic Administrator is on vacation
  • Ensures own daily appointment schedule is tight and always full! Proper communication between doctor & CEO OWNER, , management, staff, and referring physicians
  • Ensures the patient is satisfied with elective skin care services and products recommended and continues to return to receive skin care treatment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma; college degree preferred
  • Extensive Aesthetician trainings and extra pertinent courses mandatory
  • 5+ years experience in a High End, High Volume, Dermatology or Plastic Surgery Practice office working as a Licensed, Medical aesthetician.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatment, elective services and products
  • Must have a true passion and drive for this industry and be a proven, super successful self starter and hard worker. # Excellent communication skills

  • Must be a pro at inventory control management and be responsible for managing staff to help doing weekly and monthly counts and reporting any theft/loss to CEO/Owner. Must insure accurate counts

Our dermatologist is a world-renowned expert cosmetic dermatologist, and we offer all of the newest and best cosmetic injectables, fillers, Botox, Dysport etc and a myriad of the newest, top-of-the-line, award-winning laser and light technologies to achieve fast and safe results.

We do clinical research and investigations for one of the world’leading laser manufacturers to develop treatment protocols for emerging laser technologies. So we often have new, premier technologies here first. With our extensive experience with aesthetic injectables and cosmetic lasers, innovative technologies and lightsource treatments we only hire the very “best of the best”!

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing/Business Development

  • Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with authorized practice as defined by state law
  • Delivers care in accordance with mutually agreed upon guidelines that are developed by the physician and R.N. and based on the physician’s delegatory style.
  • Insures that you or MA’s are obtaining clear excellent photos are taken of all cosmetic patients at every appointment and gets all “Photo Consents” and other forms signed
  • Limits their involvement in the assessment and implementation of treatment to agreed upon procedures including but not limited to injection therapy, taking into consideration their training, experience, and preparation of the R.N.
  • Tracks referral sources, sends thank you letters to the source, and dictates consultation letters to the patient.
  • Responsible for the coordination of retention correspondence to patients regarding their follow-up treatment plan. (As well as insure all patients get their Pre-Op and Post Op Forms)
  • Maintains the patient’s medical records detailing all treatment procedures, medication history, and educational materials distributed
  • Insures that on facial procedures that Advanced Visia Digital Photo-Analysis is taken to digitally track progress to maximize patient results .

Secondary Duties

  • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that a registered nurse practitioner/ or PA is treating them.
  • Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed guidelines for the practice.
  • Clarifies and familiarizes all issues related to supervision methods and style of delegating patient care with the supervising physician
  • Tracks referral sources, sends thank you letters to the source, and dictates consultation letters to the patient.
  • Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards. 6. Maintains inventory-tracking system for all injectable products. Orders and stocks inventory (or helps to track & get ordered) and supplies as needed.
