Dermatopathology

The American Academy of Dermatology recommends yearly skin checks to examine moles and remove unusual ones that are often overlooked by patients. Since we live in Southern Florida with almost year-round high exposure to the sun, skin checks are especially important. Dr. Aguilera is well-trained in Dermatopathology and recognizing the early warning signs of skin cancer. If caught early, skin cancers are most often very treatable and can be completely eliminated before they become serious.
