DYSPORT® - An alternative to BOTOX®
We are one of the first in Florida to offer Dysport (the first competitor to Botox ® Cosmetic), an FDA-approved treatment used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles in the forehead. Similar to BOTOX, Dysport is injected directly into the site of wrinkles to prevent the underlying muscles from contracting. Dysport often takes effect within 1-2 days (vs. Botox 7-10 days) and is great for a quick, last minute refresher for an event that’s coming up fast. Dysport is made from the same protein used in Botox. Dr. Aguilera will discuss your options and the differences in person during your consultation so you can decide which treatment is best for you.
